Easter Potato Salad

April 6, 2015 Steve Anderson

Making potato salad using my Wolf Steam Convection Oven is much easier than the traditional boiling a pot of water.

I simply peeled the potatoes, cut them into uniformly small pieces and laid them out on the perforated pan and put them into the oven on rack position 2. I added the solid pan beneath on rack position 1.

The Reference Guide for diced potatoes says to use full steam mode for 17-22 minutes.

I also needed hard boiled eggs so I decided to simply add them at the same time. This saved me an extra step.

I added one rack to rack position 3 and put 6 eggs on the rack. The Reference Guide calls for full steam mode for 19-21 minutes.

I set the timer for 19 minutes. Both the potatoes and eggs were done at the same time.

This turned out to be very easy and saved me from washing two pots.
